The fifth annual Johnny Ferlita Memorial Fishing Tournament begins today at the Tampa Bayside Marina to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The tournament runs until Saturday and kicks off with a Captain's Meeting and Dinner Party, catered by the Columbia Restaurant with live music by the Cuban Social Club… The Once Upon a Time Ball to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Children's Hospital will take place tomorrow at the InterContinental Hotel Miami. A Magical World of Wonders is the theme for this event.

Wednesday, May 17: The fifth annual Florida Music Festival opens today and runs until Saturday throughout various locations in downtown Orlando such as Backbooth, Central Station Bar, and Kate O'Brien's. It's produced by aXis Productions… Friday, May 19: The Globe Café & Bar will be hosting its third annual Cuba Libre Block Party. The event will feature live performances by Willy Chirino, Avana, and others plus a domino park, cigar lounge, and casino… Saturday, May 20: The second annual Tour de Cure begins today and runs through Sunday at Jacksonville's Metropolitan Park. It ends at downtown Fernandina…Also on Saturday, the Palm Beach County Convention Center will be hosting the Providencia Black-tie Gala, which celebrates 25 years worth of contributions to Palm Beach County's tourism industry. Moroso Motorsports Park will be honored at the gala with the 2006 Providencia Award, the County's most prestigious tourism award…The Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association will host an adventure-themed 22nd annual Patron Party at the Tampa Convention Center. This event features a cocktail hour, dinner by Aramark, and a musical performance by Crystal Blue.
