MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA The Miramar Cultural Center, a versatile facility for the arts, has been getting creative with unusual events. Recently, a hardworking cruise company managed to have an event without putting business on hold. It held an award ceremony in the theater, a congratulatory celebration in the banquet hall, and a workstation for the sales staff in the Cultural Center.
The Miramar Cultural Center offers unique touches to conventional events. The works of world-renowned artists, such as Picasso and Dali, are available as backdrops for any social or corporate event. Currently on display is “All that Jazz: Photographs of Jazz Legends.” All exhibitions are populated by the Museum of Fort Lauderdale. The Cultural Center has a variety of spaces for events of all sizes, including an 800-seat theater, two art galleries, banquet facilities, rehearsal halls, classrooms, a full-service kitchen, and an outdoor botanical garden.
