Joining the mobile catering truck craze is Border Grill, which offers Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger's gourmet tacos, quesadillas, and ceviches from its mobile operation. The service, launched in June, is bolstered by the restaurant's full-scale catering operation, so the team can also provide a bar, additional servers, appetizers, and desserts. The truck makes regular stops at businesses and farmers markets around the city and, for events, can travel anywhere in the L.A. area, including adjacent counties. Menus range from about $15 to $28 per person and up.
