The Museum of Science and Industry offers exceptional spaces and innovative exhibits that provide a dramatic backdrop for any event, with an added dimension of interactivity. Tangle with a twister inside Science Storms, dine alongside a captured WWII German submarine in the U-505 exhibit, or mingle in the Smart Home garden while sipping a glass of organic wine. Whether it’s an event for 20 or 12,000, the museum’s event professionals will guide you step by step, ensuring that all details are executed perfectly. They’ve got events down to a science.
Voted as one of Chicago’s Seven Wonders by Chicago Tribune readers, the Museum is the largest science museum in the western hemisphere, with 400,000 square feet of exhibit space, making it the ultimate location for one-of-a-kind special events designed and produced by award-winning chefs and event producers.
Memorable Moments
The International Film Festival hosted its star-studded gala celebration at M.S.I. in 2010 to honor the renowned actor and director Ron Howard. Other notable celebrities in attendance included Wynona Ryder, Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Connelly, and Paul Bettany.
They were ready when I came in with optional approaches and fresh ideas. They were fearless in breaking away from the tried and true, and creating new dishes. We wanted it fun, sure, but we also wanted a sophisticated twist for our high-end event.” - In regards to the 2010 International Film Festival Gala
