Overview

The restored 1913 museum reopened in 2010 as part of a five-year remodeling project. The grand foyer seats 120 guests for dinner and also accommodates the skeleton of an almost perfectly preserved T. rex. The dinosaur hall was renovated and reopened with a 14,000-square-foot space in 2011. By 2013, much of the museum’s public space will be renovated and the new glass-fronted north campus pavilion is expected to be complete.
