Boreal Gelato Company opened in June, just in time for summer. The new company sells homemade gelato from its storefront in Parkdale. Owned by former event planner Melanie Clancy, Boreal also supplies a range of products and services for special events, including custom-shaped popsicles, mini and full-size gelato cakes, and gelato catering. Equipped with all the necessary freezers and cooling storage, Boreal Gelato Company can also provide events with a trained scooper.
Planners can choose from Boreal’s 11 organic rotating gelato flavours or invent their own. With enough notice, Boreal can prepare for almost any group size, and most locations in the greater Toronto area can be accommodated. Biodegradable packaging, cups, and spoons are used for all of their products. Pricing varies according to venue location, indoor or outdoor conditions, event duration, and group size.
