BOSTON This month, chef Lydia Shire will begin hosting small, interactive cooking classes. Available to private groups of 12 when Shire's schedule permits, the three-hour classes cost $3,000. Each session takes place in the open kitchen at Shire's restaurant, Towne Stove & Spirits, which is adjacent to the Hynes Convention Center.
During the class, Shire will offer one-on-one cooking instruction and tips on home entertaining. The class will end with a meal, where participants and Shire sit down together to taste the dish they just prepared. Each guest will leave with a $50 gift card to Towne and a catalog featuring some of Shire's favorite recipes.
