Founded in 1909, the Newark Museum features a mini zoo, a planetarium, and 80 galleries of African, Asian, and American art. The Engelhard Court includes 17-foot ficus trees and access to the museum's galleries; it holds 210 for seated events and dancing or 400 for receptions. The Alice Random Dreyfuss Memorial Garden holds 600 for receptions and can be tented for events while the Billy Johnson Auditorium seats 300.
