| Lego to Open Largest U.S. Location at Meadowlands Complex |

Even though Meadowlands Xanadu won't open until the fall, the super entertainment complex is already shaping up to be one of the bigger attractions in the tristate area. Today the developer revealed that, through partnership with U.K.-based Merlin Entertainments, the 2.3 million-square-foot East Rutherford facility will be home to the largest U.S. location of Legoland.
Built for children ages two to 12, the 44,000-square-foot indoor activity venue will offer interactive displays like model building and construction challenges as well as theme-park rides, an exhibition area, a café, and birthday party rooms. The centerpiece of the Legoland Discovery Centre is to be a large structure made entirely of the iconic bricks. Merlin Entertainments, which runs the London Eye, has also agreed to lease and operate the Pepsi Globe observation wheel.
