If you're looking to head out of the city for a meeting, check out the Museum at Bethel Woods. The site, which opened to the public on Monday, is on the 2,000-acre grounds of the original Woodstock festival, about 90 minutes from New York City. Part of a larger campus—the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts—the museum in Sullivan County is dedicated to the music and culture of the 1960s, much of which focuses on the impact of the historic music festival through film, song, photography, and artifacts.

In addition to the 132-seat theater, classrooms, and a retail area, the Museum at Bethel Woods features the Events Gallery, a 4,340-square-foot venue that will become available for meetings and events in 2009. The room, a wood, glass, and stone structure, is used for the museum's performances and educational purposes.
