IAC Relies on Warren Z's Video Wall Expertise

Sabrina Kieffer came to IAC in July 2007 as the director of corporate events and travel. In addition to managing venue rentals for the company’s Frank Gehry-designed headquarters in Chelsea, she and her team of two event managers oversee 100 events annually, ranging from 10-person board meetings to large-scale product launches. Prior to joining IAC, a media conglomerate that owns Ask.com, Citysearch, Match.com, and CollegeHumor.com, Kieffer planned events in Los Angeles for Universal Studios, USC, and the Four Seasons in Westlake Village, California.

Audiovisual Production: "Warren Z Productions is our go-to audiovisual company. One of the unique things about our space is the 120-foot-long by 11-foot-tall video wall in the lobby, and Warren Z is extremely well-versed in video-wall technology. They produce custom content for the wall, and clients find them easy to work with."

Catering: “I recommend Taste Caterers. They have done a lot of product launches, cocktail receptions, and press conferences for us. Overall, the quality of food that Taste serves is excellent. They specialize in the most delicious bite-size hors d'oeuvres, like the crab cakes and mini Cuban sandwiches. They also create passed desserts that are to die for, including roasted pineapple goat-cheese croquettes with a rum dipping sauce.

Design:David Stark and his team are fabulous to work with. We already have him lined up for events in 2009.”

Van Wyck & Van Wyck is also very clever and inventive. For our holiday party last year, they brought in 40 evergreens—real Christmas trees with twinkling lights and hanging Chinese lanterns.”

Production: "Mosaic Event Management is a San Francisco-based production company that handles our annual corporate retreat. From booking the guest rooms and meeting spaces to organizing transportation, teambuilding activities, off-site events, and the production of the general session (which includes putting together the presentations and handling audiovisual), owner Ron Johnson knows IAC in and out and always meets our needs. He is a man of integrity and will fly to wherever necessary to get the job done."

Sound & Lighting: "In addition to Warren Z, when it comes to vendors that are great at flawlessly executing last-minute requests, I call on Bill Magood from Michael Andrews Audio Visual and Scott Farb from Onstream Media. Both guys are extremely responsive and are willing to do whatever you ask of them, whether it's sound equipment or Webcasting services.
