Gallery Offers Space for Corporate Rental
In 1996, Todd Hosfelt founded the Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco then opened a New York location 10 years later. Situated just east of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the 7,500-square-foot loft-like space regularly exhibits contemporary pieces from international artists and is now being offered as a venue for events and meetings.

Much like the venues in this area of Midtown, the Hosfelt Gallery features architectural elements from its history as a warehouse, including structural columns and wooden flooring. - Photo: Courtesy of Hosfelt Gallery

Built in the 19th century, the Midtown space was renovated by Hosfelt and still retains some of the original architectural features, including wooden floors and exposed beams. The space is partitioned into four interconnected rooms with 13-foot ceilings and large skylights throughout. A sound system, podium, and projector are available and a kitchen area can be used for catering prep.

The Hosfelt Gallery comfortably accommodates 350 for receptions or, with tables of 10 spread throughout the rooms, seats 150. The venue requires that at least one member of the gallery's staff be on-site for events and can remove exhibitions if necessary.
