Sonnier & Castle Headquarters Offers Two Floors for Events
Late last year, catering firm Sonnier & Castle moved into its new headquarters—a bilevel townhouse in Midtown West, less than two blocks from the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Earlier this month, the company started marketing the spot, dubbed No. 554, as a place for corporate and nonprofit functions.

Divided into two areas, this venue has two entrances, A.D.A.-compliant entryways and bathrooms, and elevator access between floors.

The 700-square-foot section on the second floor is available in the daytime as well as the evening and has dark walnut floors, a surround-sound system, and dedicated lighting controls. A floor-to-ceiling sliding door can subdivide the space. This area seats 50 or holds 75 for receptions.

At ground level is a gallery-style space, which, in contrast to the room on the floor above, is accented with original brick walls, concrete flooring, and a wood-beamed ceiling. As this 550-square-foot area leads directly to the firm's kitchen, it is only available for evening events. This space seats 50 or holds 75 for receptions.

Catering, naturally, is provided by Sonnier & Castle, which can also arrange teambuilding cooking classes in its open-plan kitchen.
