Bowlmor Lanes to Reopen Pressure as Carnival

Another new venue to add to the fall lineup is Carnival, a bar and lounge area that will open atop Bowlmor Lanes in early October. Replacing pool hall Pressure, this 16,000-square-foot space will be completely revamped and, when finished, offer a circus- and carnival-style environment. Above Bowlmor and, like its predecessor, housed within a 60-foot air pressurized bubble, Carnival will include the kind of activities more commonly found on the midway, including a dunk tank and a high striker (the strength-testing game that involves a mallet and a tower with a bell on top).

To complement the distractions, the venue will also offer live entertainment from circus performers and casual fare like pizza, burgers, and mini corn dogs. Drinks will match the theme too, with selections that include caramel apple martinis, beer, and a two-gallon mix of Absolut Vodka, Malibu Rum, Beefeater Gin, and fruit juice dubbed the "Dunk Tank."

For events, Carnival will hold 500 guests.
