| Not even master magician David Copperfield could conjure his way through the throngs of people waiting to get into the two-story Salvatore Ferragamo flagship on Fifth Avenue for the store's launch at the beginning of Fashion Week. He had to wait in a line that wrapped around the block like everyone else—even those carrying one of the event's sleek custom-made-in-Italy invites. |
