Planning a Super Bowl bash? Here are some great venues where guests can cheer on their favorite team—from high-tech screening rooms to old-fashioned sports bars:
AMC Empire This theater has a 371-seat digital screening room with stadium seating and a satellite connection.
Bryant Park Hotel Screening Room The hotel can set up a bar near its 70-seat screening room.
Club Bar and Grill at Madison Square Garden This wood-paneled space holds 225 for dinner or 300 for cocktails.
Digital Sandbox, Digital Sandbox @ 41 Madison Avenue Digital Sandbox Network operates these two high-tech locations, each with multiple possiblities for viewings.
ESPN Zone The entertainment complex has four floors, hundreds of televisions and a private 45-seat skybox.
40/40 Club Rapper Jay-Z's Flatiron district sports bar has 8,000 square feet of space.
Grand Screen at Tribeca Grand Hotel The posh theater holds 100 and the adjoining foyer space can host cocktails for as many as 200.
Heartland Brewery & Chophouse, Heartland Brewery & Beer Hall, Heartland Brewery Union Square Three of Heartland's locations are ideal for viewings—notably the Brewery & Chophouse, which offers a private room that holds 120 and can be broken down into three separate spaces.
Jake's Dilemma This classic Upper West Side sports bar has a private room and lounge for small groups.
Loews Astor Plaza, Loews E-Walk, Loews Lincoln Square's Loews IMAX Theatre, Loews 34th Street These four Loews locations are especially suitable for viewings. The Loews IMAX seats 600 and also has a lobby area for 500.
Mickey Mantle's Restaurant and Sports Bar This popular sports-themed restaurant can provide audiovisual equipment for private events.
Museum of Television and Radio Corporate members can host game viewings in the museum's 200-seat screening room. Two smaller rooms hold 40 each or a fourth screening room holds 84.
Park Avenue Country Club With 16 big screens and 30 smaller ones, this large space holds 500.
Park Avenue Screening Room In addition to an elegant 55-seat theater, the space can host small receptions in its lobby.
Pressure NYC The lounge on the rooftop of Bowlmor Lanes has a screening room that holds 75.
Proof This Murray Hill sports bar has two levels and holds 225 guests.
Shula's Steak House Former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula's restaurant has a private room for 50 adorned with sports memorabilia. Audiovisual arrangements are handled on-site.
Sporting Club The club has 45 screens throughout its two floors, and also has a private lounge with a separate set of screens.
Whiskey The W Hotel—Times Square's bar offers a 60-seat screening room with a 19-foot HDTV screen.
