This Week: Thanksgiving Parade and Holiday Fests
It's that time of year again—the holiday season gets rolling with tomorrow's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The huge procession makes its way from Central Park West and 77th Street to Herald Square. And on Friday the Fetes de Noel holiday bazaar opens in Bryant Park and continues through January 1. At the Javits Center, the Greater New York Dental Meeting begins on Saturday and continues through Wednesday, November 30. Monday is the holiday tree lighting at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District holds its Winter Eve celebration following the lighting, with entertainment and promotions along Broadway from 68th Street to Columbus Circle. Tuesday, the Food Allergy Initiative honors chef Mario Batali at its annual Food Allergy ball at the Pierre.
