A Big Ballroom in Brooklyn
Photo: BizBash
At the rear of the giant Steiner Studios lot that houses five working soundstages on 15 acres inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard is Stage 6, a large facility managed by caterer Abigail Kirsch. Within the dedicated event venue are a 500-seat ballroom (which holds 650 for receptions), a 100-seat screening room, and dressing rooms. A 4,300-square-foot glass-enclosed area on the rooftop (pictured) offers striking views of the Manhattan skyline and has an adjacent 3,700-square-foot outdoor terrace. Technicians who worked on the other studios outfitted Stage 6 with advanced lighting, sound, and audiovisual equipment. —Anna Sekula
