What are some companies that rent video games?
If you're looking to capture the attention of a younger crowd or give guests something fun to do other than saddling up to the bar, arcade games can add a playful element to certain types of events. Here are a few companies that offer rentals nationwide.

New York-based Amusitronix—the self-proclaimed “virtual reality guys”—specializes in high-tech interactive games, motion thrill rides, and simulators ranging from golf to race car driving. The company can also create custom virtual-reality games that feature corporate logos (like a branded virtual-reality surfing game they created for a Citibank event). Prices vary by game, and delivery fees depend on location.

For a little ’80s cachet, Los Angeles’s Family Entertainment Inc. rents out arcade classics like Asteroids and Galaga, as well as slot machines and virtual-reality games. Prices vary by game, and there’s a flat $295 delivery and setup fee.

Southern California-based Spectrum Games Inc. has a wide inventory of racing games, pinball machines, and interactive games like Dance Dance Revolution. Past clients include Sirius Satellite Radio, Google, and the Rolling Stones. Prices and delivery fees vary.
