Looking at the New Music Hall of Williamsburg
Over the summer, concert promotion company Bowery Presents announced opening dates for its newest venues, the first of which was the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Open since early September, the new incarnation of Brooklyn’s Northsix is available for private events and comes equipped with better sight lines, parabolic ceilings for improved acoustics, and a broadcast-quality sound and light system.

Styled after the industrial aesthetic of the Bowery Ballroom, the large performance venue has three levels, including a main floor with an 18- by 31-foot stage, a balcony on the second floor that overlooks the central area, and a lower-level lounge. There are also three greenrooms—with private bathrooms—and a total of three bars throughout the space. The music hall holds 550 people.
