1. PRSA’s Silver Anvil Awards
The Public Relation Society of America’s annual awards have honored more than 1,000 organizations in their 51 years. Last year’s “Best Of” award went to Fleishman-Hillard for its “E.R.A.S.E.ing the Divide: Giving NYC Kids a Clean Slate in Fighting Asthma” campaign. The 2008 awards are June 5 at the Equitable Center.
2. PR Week Awards
PR Week’s ninth annual ceremony, which brings together almost 1,000 public relations executives, will be held at Tavern on the Green on March 6. Haymarket senior events manager Pilar Mustafa is organizing the awards. Bestek will handle staging for the event.
3. PRSA New York Chapter’s Big Apple Awards
More than 330 public relations professionals attended the 2007 awards, when Novartis won the “Best of the Best” award for its “Getting Down to Business” investor relations campaign. The Charles Group’s Carol Davis-Grossman is producing the May 22, 2008, awards at the Rainbow Room.
