| Citrus Debuts as Social Hollywood's Fresh New Restaurant |

FROM LOS ANGELESHollywood eatery Citrus—restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow's latest offering—opened this month, playing host to a pre-Grammy party before its official public debut. The space serves both as part of Social Hollywood and as a freestanding venue with a separate entrance, waiting area, and bar. Citrus holds 140 for seated events, and the entire building (including the restaurant) can accommodate 1,200.
Citrus features the original Moorish ceiling from the building's days as the Hollywood Athletic Club. Newly added are mirrored pillars, banquettes, and lemon-yellow fabric draping the walls. |

Chef Michel Richard's seafood-centric menu emphasizes fresh California cuisine with European influences. Whimsically titled presentations include "Duck, Duck Orange" and "Chicken Faux Gras." Chef de cuisine is Rémi Lauvand, who came to Citrus from Le Cirque. Starting in March, off-premise catering by Richard will be available for events. —Sharon Knolle
