| Party Motivators Take Center Stage |

"Party motivators"—those exuberant men and women who often get the most shy wallflowers to dance at an event—were the topic in a recent article by the New York Times. "They are attractive, hard-bodied students,.phpiring actors and the like, who are paid to dance...They are part camp counselor, part crowd-control officer and part gyrating dance wonder." writes Elissa Gootman. The article cites the going rate for most motivators—between $100 and $300 per event—but motivator Lorne Hughes, who's booked through Allen Dalton Productions, declined to state his price. "I'm ageless and I'm priceless," he said.
