OVERVIEW
This public course hosted the 2002 U.S. Open and will host the tournament again in 2009. The course features narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, and slopes rated among the highest in the Northeast. In addition to four other golf courses (Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow), the park’s facilities include a driving range, bridle paths, picnic areas, a polo field, hiking trails, and 12 tennis courts. Carlyle on the Green, located at
the English manor-style clubhouse, offers in-house catering and several rooms for events. The Oak Room restaurant is also available, along with an outdoor courtyard and patio.
