OVERVIEW
From Town chef Geoffrey Zakarian—which explains the name—Country is housed in the Carlton Hotel. The large bilevel venue, redesigned by David Rockwell, has restored parts of the original building, including a mosaic floor and a Tiffany-style glass dome in the dining room. The street-level café opened in 2005, and the more formal upstairs dining room and nine private rooms within the hotel opened in February 2006.
