OVERVIEW
Shaburi, a chain of shabu shabu (the Japanese tradition in which diners cook pieces of raw meat and vegetables in a pot of boiling broth at the table) restaurants that started in Taiwan, opened its first American outpost in Midtown in 2005 and also features sushi. The space is filled with crimson-upholstered seats, white stone walls, and dark brown wood tables and chairs. The restaurant seats 110 and has a private room that seats eight.
