The former Chemists Club has taken on a new name—and direction—and reopened as Benjamin Steakhouse. The new meat-eaters’ spot in the Dylan Hotel is the venture of a former chef from steak authority Peter Luger, Arturo McLeod, and business partner Benjamin Prelvukaj (also a Luger alum). No major renovations have been done to the space, and the eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 60-seat mezzanine section may be used for private events.
