Smart Catering works with more than 150 of New York’s chefs and restaurants to bring famous dishes like Country’s sweet-corn panna cotta or Megu’s crispy Madagascan shrimp roll to private events. For a recent Passover event for designer Liz Lange, founder Ben Zion called on some of New York’s best to create a menu that included wasabi-spiked matzo-ball soup from Sushi Samba, roasted chicken from Waverly Inn, and banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery.
