OVERVIEW
The HighLine Ballroom, a new performance space inspired by the High Line Park in the meatpacking district on 16th Street, opened its doors on April 30, 2007, packing its newly renovated structure with hungry fans of the infamous Lou Reed. Dedicated to bringing music fans intimate performances by a diverse group of artists, the 700-capacity venue will cater to bands of all levels, extending its arms as a home to new bands and as a cozy performance spot for those already established.
The HighLine Ballroom is available for private events. It is able to seat 340 guests on the main floor and mezzanine, and can do both buffet dinners and seated plated functions. It has two 15-foot bars on the main floor, and another on the mezzanine. HighLine Ballroom is very fortunate to have four-star chef Erik Blauberg at the helm in the kitchen.
