Blowout v. Budget
Here Florida design and decor companies show how they can cater to both a client with a fantasy or more moderate budge for tabletops.
BBJ Linen and A Basket Affair came together to create a simple beachside-chic look. Using saffron-colored linens and a low centerpiece with seashell accents, the budget tabletop--priced at $100 per ten-top--would fit into a client's moderate budget.

For the fantasy budget tabletop, BBJ and Basket Affair added pearl detailed chair covers, a sheer overlay with beading, and replaced the seashells for a towering floral arrangement, and floral-wrapped napkins. The blowout table is priced at more than $500 per ten-top.

The multilevel fantasy tabletop by conceptBAIT features an eclectic fusion of exotic flowers--including calla lilies, hydrangeas, and cymbidium orchids--embellished with crystal and pearl beading and set atop a raised acrylic table top with fresh florals and greens underneath in a mosaic style. Table is priced at $1,750 per table of 10.

For the cost-conscious planner, the towering centerpiece was replaced with a silver and crystal candelabra atop crushed pewter-colored linens. The place setting remained the same, though the acrylic tabletop was removed, still creating an elegant look at a modest price of $425 per table of 10.
