Dining on the Green
More than 600 guests dined on the green of Tropicana Field the Pediatric Foundation's annual Fisherman's Ball fund-raiser.
The Pediatric Cancer Foundation hosted its annual Fisherman's Ball fund-raiser at the Tampa Bay Rays' Tropicana Field on November 9. More than 600 guests enjoyed a taste of the tropics as they got the opportunity to not only step on the field reserved for ball players, but have their dinner there as well.

Event planner Lindsey Whitney of the foundation recruited Modern Display to turn the field into a tropical oasis. Tables were draped in floral linens with glass fish vases holding exotic florals courtesy of Grand Events. Additionally Team Sandtastic created a detailed sand sculpture featuring the foundation's logo. For a bit of added ambience, a group of children under the care of the foundation played the steel drums for guests' entertainment during dinner.
