MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA In honor of Pampers Diapers' 50th anniversary and Father's Day, new and expecting fathers got, well, pampered, on June 16 with a Polynesian sunset luau at the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Twenty-five local dads, chosen because of the work they do in their community, were greeted by a hula dancer, flower leis, and flip-flops, and then were ushered into the beachside event. The diaper company tapped TrèsKoi Public Relations for event production and public relations and Urban Icons Marketing for set design and audio. Decor included oversize mai tai cups filled with fruit punch and a Pampers' step-and-repeat on a sea grass carpet used as a backdrop for family photos, a photo booth with props, a live drumming circle, and sand arts and crafts. Dads also got “MAN-icures” at the Hula Hand station, courtesy of Seven Seas Spa & Salon.
