BizBash Announces 2009 L.A. Event Style Award Winners, Including Ellen DeGeneres’s 50th Birthday Party and the Recording Academy’s Grammy Celebration
Other winners include Marriott Masters Trade Show, Emirates Airline, and Target, honored for the best events in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES—June 11, 2009—BizBash (bizbash.com), the trade magazine and Web site for the event planning industry, announced the winners of the annual Los Angeles Event Style Awards in a ceremony held during the BizBash Expo on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at the L.A. Mart. Winners were selected by a panel of event industry professionals that included planners, suppliers, and BizBash editors. Awards were presented in 16 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Gift Bag, Best Invitation Design, Best Catering at an Event, Best New Venue, Best Video, and Best Fresh Idea. BizBash hosts other award presentations in Chicago on August 20 and New York on October 21, 2009.

Society Awards (society-awards.com) created elegant awards for the event, made of clear crystal on a silver base. Classic Party Rentals was the official sponsor of the Event Style Awards.

The award presentation was attended by top corporate event and meeting professionals, as well as marketers and vendors in the event industry, including caterers, audiovisual companies, lighting and sound companies, venue managers, and decor and design companies.
