BizBash Announces 2010 Chicago Event Style Award Winners, Including Rachael Ray Show's "Rachael's Big Block Party," Macy's Glamorama After-Party, and Museum of Science and Industry's Black Creativity Gala
Other winners include Chicago History Museum's Lncoln Ball, Alzheimer's Association Chicago's "Le Monde Est Un Cirque" Rita Hayworth Gala, and Krisam Group's "An Evening in Wonderland" Party, honored for the best events in Midwest.

Chicago—August 19, 2010—BizBash, the trade magazine and Web site for the event planning industry, announced the winners of the second annual Chicago Style Awards in a ceremony held during the BizBash Expo on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the Merchandise Mart. Winners were selected by a panel of event industry professionals that included planners, suppliers, and BizBash editors. Awards were presented in 14 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Invitation Design, Best Lighting Design, Best New Venue, and Best Fresh Idea. BizBash hosts other award presentations in New York on October 27, 2010 and Florida on April 12, 2011.

"We would like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners for submitting their events," said Chad Kaydo, editor in chief of BizBash. "I'd like to thank our judges, presenters, and sponsors for their contributions."

Society Awards (society-awards.com) created elegant awards for the event, made of clear crystal on a black marble base.

The award presentation was attended by top corporate event and meeting professionals, as well as marketers and vendors in the event industry, including caterers, audiovisual companies, lighting and sound companies, venue managers, and decor and design companies.
