BizBash Announces 2010 New York Event Style Award Winners, Including Targets "Party for Good," mtvU's Woodie Awards, and the Whitney Gala 2009 at the Whitney Museum of American Art
Other winners include New York Public Library's "Library Lions Gala 2009", MOMA's "Exhibition Closing Dinner", Skylight One Hanson, and "Spring in Flight: Cl de Peau Beaut Spring 2010 Color Collection"

New York—October 27, 2010—BizBash, the trade magazine and Web site for the event planning industry, announced the winners of the ninth annual New York Event Style Awards in a ceremony held during the BizBash Expo on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Javits Center. Winners were selected by a panel of event industry professionals that included planners, suppliers, and BizBash editors. Awards were presented in 18 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Invitation Design, Best Lighting Design, Best New Venue, and Best Fresh Idea. BizBash will host other award presentations in Fort Lauderdale on April 12, 2011 and Pasadena June 14, 2011.

"We would like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners for submitting their events," said Chad Kaydo, editor in chief of BizBash. "I'd like to thank our judges, presenters, and sponsors for their contributions."

Society Awards created elegant double "B" awards for the event, made of clear crystal against blue glass atop a black marble base.

The award presentation was attended by top corporate event and meeting professionals, as well as marketers and vendors in the event industry, including caterers, audiovisual companies, lighting and sound companies, venue managers, and decor and design companies.
