BiZBash Names Robert Fitzgerald VP, Sales and Marketing
New York, New York - September 1, 2005 - David
Adler, C.E.O. and founder of BiZBash Media, the trade
media company for the event industry, announced today
the company has named Robert Fitzgerald to the newly
created position of vice president of sales and marketing.
Most recently, Fitzgerald was national sales manager
for Thomson Media, where he managed the successful turnaround
of its largest trade show, CardTech SecurTech. Previously
he served as national sales manager for Richmond Events.
Prior to working in event sales management, Fitzgerald
founded VPD Speakers and Entertainment Inc. with Grammy-winner
Speech of Arrested Development. He has an M.B.A. in
marketing management from Baruch College, and a B.A.
in political science from SUNY/Fredonia. He lives in
Manhattan with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Sylvie Rose.
Adler said, “We are excited to have Robert join
our team as we enhance our sales and marketing operations,
expand into other markets, and launch additional product
lines.”
