BizBash Names Anne Hunt Cheevers Chief Marketing Officer

Adler, C.E.O. and Founder of BizBash
Media, the media company for the event planning
and organizing community, with operations in New York,
Los Angeles, Florida, and Toronto, announced today that
the company has named Anne Hunt Cheevers, age 49, to
the new position of Chief Marketing Officer of BizBash
and President of the newly acquired Masterplanner product.
With more than 20 years in the publishing industry,
Anne has extensive strategic marketing and operating
experience, which includes the development of new ventures.
Most recently she was Senior Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer for TASA in Brewster, New York. Anne
has also held Vice President, Marketing positions for
McGraw-Hill, Cendant Membership Services, the Bureau
of Business Practice, Simon & Schuster, and MemberWorks.
According to Adler, “BizBash has had phenomenal
growth and brand acceptance over the past seven years,
and now it is time to take our integrated marketing,
content, advertising, and subscription businesses to
entirely new levels. With the acquisition of Masterplanner
Calendar we have added our first subscription based
offering—an area in which Anne has a tremendous
amount of experience managing and growing profitably.
