Prince George Ballroom
History meets luxury at Manhattan's premier event destination. Conveniently located between Fifth and Madison Avenues and meticulously restored to its original Neo-Renaissance splendor, the Prince George Ballroom is the place for your upcoming corporate, fundraising, or private function.
The Prince George Ballroom is owned and operated by Breaking Ground, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides affordable housing for the homeless and low-income residents living in New York City. One hundred percent of net proceeds from ballroom events support this mission.
Built in 1904, the Prince George was once one of New York City's premier hotels. After years of decline and neglect, Breaking Ground rehabilitated the property in 1999. The Prince George is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
“Our fundraising was a success and thanks to your help and patience, our guests raved about the event. The proceeds will directly fund our 2014 scholarships.” -Julissa Arce, chairman of the board of directors at Ascend Educational Fund
