PRSA Silver Anvil Special Events Winners

At the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) Silver Anvil awards at the Equitable Center, six awards were given in the special events and observances category. (See photos from this event...)

  • PepperCom Inc. won the award for a special event for shorter than seven days for business services for its campaign to alert small business owners of EmployeeMatters (an employee administration and outsourcing business).

  • Fleishman-Hillard won the award for special events longer than seven days for business services for its work for SBC Communications/Pacific Bell.

  • Ketchum won the award for a special event for shorter than seven days for business products for their work for Frito-Lay's Cracker Jack “Vendor of the Year” campaign.

  • Preston Osborne won the award for a special event for shorter than seven days for an association or nonprofit organization for their work for Centre College's “Thrill in the 'Ville: The 2000 Vice Presidential Debate at Centre College.”

  • Lovell Public Relations won the award for a special event for longer than seven days for business products for their work for the Macerich Company.

  • The Department of the Army won the award for a special event for shorter than seven days for government for their “Birth of an Army, Birth of Freedom: U.S. Army 225th Birthday” campaign.
