Built in 1895, Bohemian National Hall is the Upper East Side home of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, Czech Center New York, and the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association. Renovated and reopened in October 2008, this five-story venue became available for third-party events earlier this month.

The biggest space is the 2,810-square-foot fourth-floor ballroom, which includes a balcony and holds a maximum of 300. Modern and designed to be flexible, the 645-square-foot stage has extensions and a hidden partition can be used to divide the ballroom into two separate spaces. Also on the third floor is a bar area, which can be used for pre-dinner cocktail receptions. Upstairs on the balcony, a glass-enclosed area is set up like a lounge, and can be used for receptions or as a room for V.I.P.s or meetings.

Down on the third floor is the home of the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association, comprised of a 1,707-square-foot gallery-like space and a 1,218-square-foot library. Both are available for functions (depending on the cultural organization's schedule of exhibitions); the larger area holds 180 for receptions, while the other holds 74.

The building also offers a rooftop terrace, a portion of which can be tented, an intimate 60-seat cinema, and a variety of audiovisual gear.
