Built in 1936 by the Ford Motor Company for the California Pacific International Exposition, the museum features murals depicting transportation. The Pavilion of Flight is the largest covered space in Balboa Park and holds 1,800. The exhibit areas hold 450 for receptions, and include the F-22 Raptor interactive ride.
