Scotiabank has acquired the naming rights to the new Niagara Convention & Civic Centre, slated to open in April 2011. Now known as the Scotiabank Convention Centre, the 288,000-square-foot facility will include an 82,000-square-foot exhibition hall, a 17,000-square-foot ballroom, and a 1,000 seat theatre. The venue, located 500 yards from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, will also offer 26,500 square feet of meeting space.
