Julie Selakovich began her position as the director of marketing at Modern Luxury Media on September 17. She replaces Kelly Owens Berg, who relocated to the publication’s New York office. Selakovich manages all marketing initiatives for the five Chicago-based Modern Luxury publications (CS, The Men’s Book, Chicago Social Brides, CS Interiors, and Front Desk), cultivates sponsorship opportunities for local and national advertisers, and fosters strategic partnerships in the city. She will be responsible for planning approximately 200 events in Chicago and and the greater metropolitan area for all of the titles.
After attending graduate school at Christie’s Education in New York, Selakovich worked with Sotheby’s in Chicago for two and a half years, coordinating special events, marketing initiatives, and client development.
