Overview
One of Brooklyn's most notable landmarks, Skylight One Hanson is an Art Deco masterpiece that can accommodate both large and small events. The spectacular details and soaring ceilings tell the story of New York’s past through iconography, mosaic murals, and sculptural reliefs. The breathtaking space was created by the Skylight Group, whose portfolio includes Skylight Soho and Skylight West in Manhattan.

The opening of Skylight One Hanson cements Brooklyn’s presence in the New York City event world. The 10,000-square-foot bank level boasts a 63-foot ceiling and 40-foot windows, while a similarly sized vault offers a minimalist contrast to the space above.

Skylight One Hanson opened in September 2009 with two high-profile events for VH1—Divas Live and Hip Hop Honors—in conjunction with the Brooklyn Academy of Music, to benefit the Save the Music Foundation.
