NEW YORK Strippers wouldn't have been appropriate at this bachelor party, so People magazine used some kitschy conversation-starters for the gun-shy singles at the mag's Top 50 Bachelors of the Year event at Noche. The magazine provided black rubber bands with words printed in silver ink for guests to wear around their wrists. Among the 44 words guests could choose from were “diva,” “hunk,” “fashionista,” “multitasker” and “only child.” The bands were from Carolyn Forsman Conversation Piece Jewelry.
No word on how the singles who opted for the “clueless” and “dysfunctional” rubber bands fared by the end of the night, but according to the event's publicist, Shawna Seldon of the Rosen Group, at least one of the bachelors highlighted in the mag walked away from the event with more than 20 phone numbers.
