FROM LOS ANGELES Econation provides an environmentally friendly way to shuttle guests. The appointment-only car service maintains a fleet of vehicles varying from the Toyota Prius, the alternative-fuel-powered Lincoln Town Car, or the hybrid GMC Yukon. In the next few weeks, the company will begin to offer digital touch-screen entertainment (featuring a mix of movies, television shows, and internet shorts), MP3 audio playlists, and healthy snacks in each car, as well as wireless Internet upon request. For those visiting from out of town, the company also offers airport runs. Hourly rates range from $55 to $85, and 24-hour advance booking is recommended.
