FROM MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA CondéNet's fashion Web site men.style.com partnered with Rubi Rey Rum for an art-inspired cocktail party in Miami on September 25. The Internet division of Condé Nast Publications, CondéNet turned to Craig Goldstein of the newly formed E Squared Concepts (and formerly of the Zanadu Group) to coordinated the Miami event (other events are being held in LA and Chicago) as a partnership between CondéNet and Rubi Rey-a Bacardi-family spirit and creator of the 86 Collective art showcase.
"The 86 Collective is all about edgy digital art; we wanted to do our party in a place that featured art," said Jennifer Frommer, ad director for CondéNet.
The nearly 200 guests in attendance at the Etra Fine Art gallery in the design district Rubi Rey cocktails and small bites provided by Mena Catering.
