FROM LOS ANGELES The restaurant chain Philippe—which began in New York and spread to Miami and Mexico City and has plans for Vegas—may soon intrude on another restaurant's Beverly Hills territory. The New York Post's Page Six reported that chef Philippe Chow and partner Stratis Morfogen have hired a broker to find a space three blocks from the Mr. Chow restaurant on North Camden Drive in Beverly Hills, which offers a similar menu, since Philippe used to cook at Mr. Chow. "This will make [Mr. Chow owner and no relation] Michael Chow crazy," an unnamed source told Page Six. "Philippe and Stratis may need security."
