FROM NEW YORK It appears that the Cipriani Group's reign at the Rainbow Room is over. After a battle against the landlord of the historic dinner and dancing site, the catering and venue management firm will cede control of the historic space to Tishman Speyer. According to The New York Post, a court settlement reached yesterday means that by August 1 of this year Cipriani will no longer operate the Rainbow Room. The Cipriani Group has not released a statement on the matter.
