In a 1909 Lower East Side tenement building, this Andre Kikoski-designed restaurant has a raw yet refined interior (exposed-brick walls, polished-steel railings and stairs, wood tables, and moss green upholstery) and serves chef Seamus Mullen's contemporary Spanish cuisine. The highlight of the space is the 45-seat Grotto Room—a concrete island surrounded by water and submerged lights that shimmer against the walls. There is also a 50-seat skylight room. A bar upstairs holds 30 receptions, while the whole restaurant holds 175. There are eight outdoor seats.
